NTCA – The Rural Broadband Association is looking for a Digital Web Analyst and will report to the IT Data and Analysis Manager. As our Digital Web Analyst, you will play an integral role in the planning, maintenance, implementation of client facing technology as well as vendor relationships.
What will you do?
1) Act as the technical central point of contact for all member facing applications, utilities and application front ends.
2) Work with Association staff to solicit and update existing client facing technology ensuring a standard look and feel across all the applications.
3) Evaluate, recommend and assist in the implementation of new client facing applications, utilities and application front ends. Provide analysis of technology options, project plans, and project status to management.
4) Facilitate interdepartmental committees to ensure all client facing technology related matters are addressed. Serve as resource for staff members for training on new or existing client facing technology.
5) Work closely with third party vendors when they are working on projects, monitoring their progress, and reporting to management or committee members during meetings or via email weekly.
6) Ensure that all help desk tickets for technology assigned, receive timely responses and within established deadlines.
7) Monitor the performance of the website and facilitates changes to improve the performance.
8) Perform other special projects or duties, as required.
The ideal candidate will have the following position requirements:
Strong understanding of the web technologies (Drupal, CMS, PHP, HTML caching, analytics), online collaboration technologies (listservs, blogs, webcasts) and presentation technologies (MS Teams, BlueSky, Abode Connect, Zoom)
General understanding of relational databases (SQL), application development, search engine optimization, security principles and stylistic best practices.
Ability to coordinate and lead projects.
Strong communication, interpersonal, oral, written, and analytical skills.
Creative problem solving skills.
Ability to juggle multiple priorities and work within deadlines.
Ability to translate complex concepts to non-technical staff.
Practical knowledge, skills & abilities usually acquired through an undergraduate degree in related discipline
Minimum of 3-5 years of related work experience.Why work for us?
