JOB DESCRIPTION: QMS Certification Management
This work package provides the business processes supporting GE Aerospace Sourcing Central Quality with administration of Supplier Quality Management System (QMS) approvals.
The prime duty for this role is reviewing GE Aerospace suppliers’ third-party quality system certifications (9100, 9110, AS9120, ISO 9001, or ISO 17025) to confirm their continued compliance with GE Aerospace quality system requirements.
Other duties are:
- Periodically contact GE Aerospace ground support equipment suppliers regarding their third-part quality system certifications (AS9100 or ISO9001) to confirm their continued compliance with GE Aerospace quality system requirements. If they do not have third-party certification, schedule an S-523 audit.
- Transferring EtQ process data to new source code when a supplier’s source code is changed from a T-code to a 5-digit (or visa versa).
- Field questions from suppliers.
- Compiling monthly audit metrics as needed using GE applications.

The preferred candidate must be a local US Citizen, pass background check and drug screening, detail oriented with good computer skills and have a background in manufacturing quality. Training will be provided on the information systems and applications that are used.
