We are currently seeking a API Architect to join our team remotely in the United States.
An Apigee Architect is responsible for the architecture, installation, configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of the Apigee Platform. The role also includes the knowledge and experience with design (best practices), implementation, testing, and support for APIs.
An Apigee Architect must have the following Industry Knowledge.
- API Management
- Web Services (SOAP, REST, gRPC, GraphQL, Micro Services)
- Network & N-Tier Topology (Web Gateways, Proxies, Firewalls, Load Balancers)
- Virtualization and Container Management
- Cloud
- Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery
- Telemetry
- Security (Basic Authentication, OAuth, TLS, RSA)
- Operating System (Linux)
Technical Competency
An Apigee Architect must be certified or technically competent in the following technologies related to the delivery of Apigee.
- Google Apigee (OPDK, Hybrid, X)
- Gateway Technologies such as IBM DataPower, MuleSoft,
- Nginx
- Tomcat
- Apache Cassandra
- Apache Zookeeper
- Apache QPID
- Drupal
- Postgres Database
- Cassandra
- Scripting Experience with Java, Java Script / Node JS, Python
Tooling
- Artifactory
- Postman
- Eclipse or Visual Studio Code
- PyCharm
- SecureCRT
- Open SSH
An Apigee Architect at Citi will use the following
- Microsoft Teams
- Microsoft Outlook
- JIRA
- Service Now
Basic Qualifications:
- 6 years of IT experience
- 3 in API - APIGEE and IBM APIConnect - technologies
