We are currently seeking a Sr. Business Analyst to join our team in Oaks, Pennsylvania (US-PA), United States (US). This is a hybrid position - 2/3 days per week on site in office.
Job Duties:
- Participating in daily scrum stand ups, backlog grooming and refinement sessions, sprint planning meetings and sprint review and retrospective meetings
- Supporting the product owners in maintaining the product backlog and scheduling next release
- Understanding the requirements and writing user stories, use cases
- Interact with Dev team, QA team, Data Analyst, and Data architects.
- Participates in requirement and design review meetings to stay informed of potential impact to change in requirements.
- Participates in project meetings, requirements reviews & walkthroughs as needed.
- Support UAT, production incident resolution
Mandatory Skills:
- 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst with at least 5 years in Financial services domain
- Good knowledge of Alternative investments like private equity, hedge funds, managed futures, commodities etc.
- 5 years of solid experience of working in an Agile environment, well versed in writing user stories.
- Experience with Agile fast paced weekly/ bi-weekly iterations projects
- Highly proficient in the areas of requirement gathering and creating Use Cases, Use case diagrams, Workflow Diagrams.
- Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, data mapping
- Experience in Supporting User Acceptance Testing, creating User Manual and User Training.
- Well acquainted with Software Development Life Cycle, Testing Life Cycle, and Business Process Management.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving, communication and presentation skills with a strong desire to achieve specified goals
- Bachelor's Degree
Good to have Skills:
- Experience with JIRA
- Understanding/ Experience of Cloud technologies like Azure, AWS, Snowflake etc.
- Experience in Accounting engines like Investran, Geneva etc
- Experience of working with development teams
- Certified in Agile (scrum/ Kanban)
