This employer requires all employees, temporary labor, consultants, and contractors to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Applicants will be required to take a typing assessment during screening process.

Hours: 8:00-4:30 Monday-Friday during training. after training M-F 8-4:30 with a Saturday ever 3 weeks.

  • Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders or optical scanners
  • Type in data provided directly from customers
  • Verify data by comparing it to source documents
  • Update existing data
  • Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested
  • Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation
  • Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost

Skills

  • Proven experience as data entry clerk
  • Fast typing skills; Knowledge of touch typing system is strongly preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.)
  • Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices
  • Basic understanding of databases
  • Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • High school degree or equivalent

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Microsoft Office Suite: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Data Entry: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Typing 40 wpm: 2 years (Required)
