We are currently seeking a Data Center Ops Senior Associate to join our team in Florence, Kentucky (US-KY), United States (US).
The Data Center Team is responsible for overall Data Center Management for both the Florence, KY, and Cincinnati, OH locations, including Infrastructure and Operations for a multitude of clients across the globe. This is a flex schedule - the shift will be Monday - Friday 12am - 8am; but will cover other shifts when colleagues go on vacation.
Daily work will consist of any or all of the following primary duties:

We are currently seeking a Data Center Ops Senior Associate to join our team in Florence, Kentucky (US-KY), United States (US).
The Data Center Team is responsible for overall Data Center Management for both the Florence, KY, and Cincinnati, OH locations, including Infrastructure and Operations for a multitude of clients across the globe. This is a flex schedule - the shift will be Monday - Friday 12am - 8am; but will cover other shifts when colleagues go on vacation.
Daily work will consist of any or all of the following primary duties:
- Data Center's Single point of contact for incoming calls and group email
- Respond to alarms in timely manner and update tickets as required
- Interacts with multiple ticketing systems to organize the teams daily Change Board and workflow
- Verifies that all visitors to the Data Center floor meet NTT's Access Requirements
- Escorts vendors to the Data Center Floor
- Shipping, Receiving and Inventory Management
- Backup Tape Handling
- Basic hardware support
- Other duties as directed that support world class management of the Data Center
- Intermediate hardware (break/fix), troubleshooting connectivity issues and replacement of hardware components
- Installation / De-installation of hardware, cabling and maintaining of databases
- Full Time Position in a Dynamic 24x7x365 organization
- This position will include rotating weekends and holidays
Basic Qualifications
- 1 years of experience in an IT role or equivalent certifications and education
Additional skills
- Data Center Experience
- Positive attitude
- Flexibility and team oriented
- Ability to conduct clear and effective two-way communication, verbal and electronic, with team members, vendors and customers (Internal and External)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to type at least 25 wpm
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Technical experience, technical aptitude or A Certification
- Cisco Monitoring Tools
- Solid time-management and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Detail oriented
- Time management
