What are the responsibilities and job description for the Buyer, Scheduler, Invoicer position at Nu-Pipe?
We are a trenchless stormwater rehabilitation company in the Southeast and MidAtlantic regions. We perform CIPP, injection grouting, spincasting, pipe cleaning, pipe video inspection, and coffer-damming/water bypass. We currently have 30-35 field employees spread between Key West and Rhode Island. We are a growing company looking to hire individuals who want to become part of our team long-term. We have been in business since 2013, and we have retained all but 4 employees we’ve ever hired. We look forward to welcoming new members of our family.
We seek to hire an individual who is skilled and experienced in the in buying of and scheduling of construction expendables and equipment, and material. Buying for us includes renting equipment, as well, since our business covers a wide geographical area.
We will expect the person we hire to be able accurately and reliably schedule and allocate trucks, equipment, material, deliveries, and expendables based on his or her readings of the relevant quotes and contracts, conversations with estimators, conversations with project managers, conversations with superintendents, and conversations with customers.
We will hire a person who has experience in scheduling and buying. We do not require that the person we hire have experience in writing and sending invoices; however, we will train our eventual hire to perform those functions, as well. We believe that performing the buying and scheduling puts this person in the best position to invoice our jobs in an accurate and timely fashion.
Our eventual hire will be a fast reader with a high level of comprehension. Our eventual hire will be comfortable with written and verbal communication, phone conversation, video conferences and face-to-face meetings. Our eventual hire will be proficient in excel, and will be a competent writer. Our eventual hire will be a skilled negotiator, who is comfortable standing his or her ground as a buyer and as an invoicer. Our eventual hire will have a high enough level of understanding of trucks and construction equipment to be able to determine what equipment is needed by reading a scope of work.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
