Asset Manager – Real Estate
SUMMARY:
Complete tasks and functions as it relates to a portfolio of commercial real estate loans. Fully manage the commercial asset including escrow holdback funds for repairs, taxes, insurance, payoff, reconveyance, written correspondence, workout strategies, and escalated calls. Familiar with real estate valuations, provide strong communication and support to customers and other duties as assigned.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Manage a portfolio of commercial real estate loans.
· Perform financial analysis of collateral properties including operating statements, rent rolls, property taxes, hazard insurance, property values
· Review workout and foreclosure analysis for non-performing loans
· Assess loan risk within the portfolio and make recommendations to loan committee to mitigate the risk.
· Perform quarterly property level Debt Service Reviews.
· When repairs are required, oversee borrower implementation of business plan to ensure timely completion and results are within budget.
· Work closely with servicing management in analyzing best strategies for workouts, modifications, foreclosures, and dispositions.
· Review and interpret legal documents, such as loan agreements, guarantees, promissory notes, loan modifications and coordinate with borrower and respective staff to ensure the loans remain in compliance.
· Conduct collection calls on late stage past due accounts and send collection correspondence as required.
· Negotiate with borrowers, borrower representatives, attorneys as needed.
· Review and post borrower payments.
· Produce payoff demands, borrower payment histories upon request.
· Work closing with Accounting and Appraisal departments.
· Special projects as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Two to four years related mortgage or commercial servicing experience or equivalent.
· Thorough working knowledge of real estate loan documentation and loan terms, follow policies, compliance, and procedures.
· Understanding and ability to work with loan servicing systems.
· Commitment to excellence and high standards.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills.
· Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
· Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
· Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities.
· Attention to detail.
· Proficient on Excel, Word. MS Access is a plus.
· Excellent customer service skills.
· Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
· Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
