A Production Manager is a professional who oversees the production process and coordinates all activities to ensure enough resources are on hand. They can plan workers' schedules, estimate costs, and prepare budgets to ensure workflow meets required deadlines.
Prerequisite:
- Physical Demands/Work Environment.
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Required to be able to read documents and computer screens.
We are looking for a well-organized, self-motivated individual with experience in manufacturing.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading personnel
- Maintaining shop flow, ensuring parts are on schedule
- Staging orders for shipping
- Inventory management
- Laser, crane, and forklift operation
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Deep knowledge of production management
- Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
- Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
- Experience in reporting on key production metrics
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP software
- Outstanding communication skills
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
Education and Experience:
- A BSc or BA in business administration or a relevant field is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in production management.
