SCOPE OF POSITION:
The Smoke Shop Lead Cashier is responsible for monitoring adherence to the internal controls relative to non-gaming operations. The Smoke Shop Lead Cashier is responsible for processing credit card transactions, handling and redeeming coupons and monetary instruments, and providing superior guest services. The Smoke Shop Lead Cashier’s performance is necessary for the smoke shop to reach its full potential to provide superior products and services for its guests.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Must be able to learn about all products
- Must be able to meet sales quotas
- Must be able to handle additional duties as assigned by Management
- Always smiles and greets guests
- Handles banks and accurately balance banks at the end of each shift
- Properly open and close facility
- Assist in receiving the product
- Maintain productivity and adherence to CNSS’s Policies and Procedures during shift
- Professionally train new team members
- Must be aware of and maintain current knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
- Assist in inventory counts of the facility
- Ensure product rotation
- Keep work area neat and tidy
- Maintains awareness of Store activities
- Settle guest disputes
- Follows proper chain of command when resolving guest disputes
- Complete and attend all other duties or training as assigned by Store Manager
- Must be able to maintain a strict level of confidentiality
PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
Team members are regularly exposed to the following: weather, exhaust fumes, secondhand smoke, dust, and chemicals associated with cleaning. Team members may be required to perform actions related to the following: hand-eye coordination, standing, sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, walking, driving, reaching with arms and hands, climbing, and balancing. Team members may be required to perform duties that require specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds properly.
The team member may be exposed to the risks of resolving issues with demanding guests and other team members.

Requirements
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Possess a High School Diploma or equivalency to include Home School Certificate
- Two (2) years Cashier/Customer Service experience or equivalent
Salary : $25,400 - $32,100
