About the Role
Nurx is looking for a growth focused Director of CRM Marketing with a primary focus on driving core communication across channels to our patients or prospective patients, as well as launching programs that allow us to drive growth of our audiences. With over 500,000 active patients, Nurx is on a mission to make healthcare more accessible for everyone, and this role is a key driver in continuing to make that mission a reality. While Email and SMS are core, we’re also building out new channels to drive growth, such as push notifications and direct mail. If you are an expert on how acquisition, retention, and brand love are married together to drive growth, then this could be the role for you. This role partners closely with our product and data teams, and reports directly to our Chief Marketing Officer with two current direct reports and 2-3 more slated in 2022.
What you’ll do:
- Drive growth of active subscribers for all services that Nurx offers, as well as drive revenue opportunities across our portfolio through cross-channel communication strategies.
- Own strategy for retention and acquisition across all CRM channels - email, SMS, media as well as discovering other opportunities.
- Build automated flows and strategies for specific service line onboarding communications as well as cross usage between services.
- Partner with the product team on retention communications initiatives and drive ongoing retention driving strategies and churn reducing strategies.
- Drive cross adoption between services within our patient base and database of over 3MM contacts.
- Own data landscape and structure across the CRM tools to ensure smooth flow of data in order to drive flows, automatons, and one off communications.
- Grow our database of prospects to become a core acquisition channel for the company including promotional campaigns as well as a word of mouth platform.
- Be the driver of customer research through surveys and data insights, partnering with others across the company.
- Partner with our head of communications to develop creative themes for content, new service launches, and areas that will keep patients engaged with the Nurx brand through our educational content.
- Partner with our head of paid growth to ladder customer marketing initiatives to understand and forecast broader impact to the growth of the business.
- Evaluate what platforms are right for Nurx as we grow in scale and needs change.
- Partner with legal and understand how a direct to consumer healthcare business works, be creative with execution within defined constraints.
A bit about you:
- 7 years of relevant work experience
- Experience working with email service providers and knowledge of the landscape
- Solid understanding of customer experience programs and communications across channels including email, sms, push, and in-product communications
- You are strategic but also like to get your hands dirty and try new things
- You have a passion for the customer and big picture of their experience
- Understanding of CRM and dynamic content tools like Liveclicker, Segment, and others
- Ability to partner with the data team for analysis, but to glean quick insights when needed
- Ability to drive insights to action
- Strong capability to be nimble and prove out test cases.
- BA/BS degree
