About the Job
Nurx is looking for a UI Designer to focus on our Design System to help our team scale as we create new product-service offerings for our patients and internal teams. The ideal candidate will have a passion for documenting, creating and maintaining component libraries to drive UI consistency across multiple platforms. This is a great opportunity to learn about the complexity of healthcare systems and make meaningful contributions to people’s lives.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-3 years experience building design systems across multiple products—including documenting, auditing and developing components and pattern libraries
- BA/BS degree in design and a portfolio demonstrating design systems, user experience and visual design work
- Knowledge of human-centered design principles
- Experience working on responsive web apps and mobile
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Familiarity with accessibility requirements, standards and features
- Active interest in working on complex systems
- Passionate about improving team workflows through the development of pattern libraries
- Enjoys working with multiple and diverse stakeholders
- Fluency in Figma is a must
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Document and audit existing design system including user flows, UI, components, etc. across multiple products
- Create and organize pattern libraries of UI components for application across multiple platforms
- Provide detailed design specifications for a variety of use cases
- Work closely with Design, Engineering, and PMs
