Intern, Data Science (Calgary, AB Canada, Loveland, CO US or Remote)

 This is a 16-month term which will begin in May, 2022.

 What you will do:

• Work hand in hand with our sites, the broader IT team, and a large range of Nutrien subject matter experts
• Assist in the development of hardware and software architecture for IT and enterprise OT deployment
• Acquire knowledge of the Nitrogen and Phosphate business and gain understanding of where data analytics and advanced computer technologies can help improve operations and safety
• Assisting in maintaining a strong working knowledge of existing systems utilized within the Nitrogen and Phosphate business unit
• Support and work with our Data Scientists as they create, modify, integrate, test, and sustain solutions deployed in our technology stack using sensor integration, computer vision or numerous other data science techniques

What you will bring:

• Currently enrolled in a Computer Science or equivalent degree program and completed at least 3 years of study

Compensation & Benefits:

$ 18.80/hour - $22.35/hour  This range is estimated for Colorado.  Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

We provide a benefits package that includes catastrophic coverages including life, accidental death and dismemberment, and business travel accident insurance for a position of at least three months in duration and more than 30 hours per week.  Our benefit package also demonstrates our culture of care with paid sick days and holidays as well as an Employee and Family Assistance Program.  A Student or Intern role does not participate in any retirement savings or incentive programs.  Nutrien will comply with benefit and retirement regulations, as necessary.  Details of the benefits package will be shared in the application process.
