Advisor, Adoption - Remote Ohio (preferably south of Columbus Ohio)

What you will do:

  • Drive and define strategies and tools for technology adoption, which is scalable andsustainable
  • Create and maintain relationships with internal business stakeholders who currently utilize business ops and precision ag related Digital tools and capabilities
  • Outreach to engage new business stakeholders with both proprietary and partnered Digital tools
  • Train and support field staff on all aspects of our business ops and precision ag related tools such as Digital Hub, Echelon, Ag Logic, NutriScription, Agrible, etc.
  • Act as the "voice of the field" by providing feedback to internal and external digital product development teams regarding business needs and priorities
  • Create and assist training and communications team with development of materials, resources, and media to promote the understanding and value of both Digital Hub tools and Echelon
  • Work with business stakeholders to ensure the value of business ops and precision ag services are accurately captured and measured by helping to track and report the usage of various aspects of our Digital tools at the employee and customer level
  • Work with fellow Adoption team members to develop Digital related training and communication materials
  • Present and speak at various internal meetings as necessary to support and promote Digital adoption
  • Develop innovative approaches to driving adoption within their division(s)
  • Coordinate cross-departmental communication to identify needs and implement relevant solutions
  • Maintain productive relationships with division level staff, location managers, crop consultants and administrators as well as external customers throughout their division(s)
  • Any other job responsibilities as required by the Company's discretion
  • Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential
  • Maintain a culture of safety throughout all activities and responsibilities

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Agronomy, Soils, Ag Business or other ag-related field; experience may be considered in lieu of education.
  • 5 years of related work experience required
  • Background in change management or technology adoption
  • Proven knowledge and understanding of standard precision ag practices, technology and supporting agronomic principles
  • Experience in marketing and positioning precision ag services for maximum value capture for a crop input retail business
  • Understanding and knowledge of the retail agriculture industry from a sales and operations perspective
  • Ability to travel 50-60% within assigned territory
  • Comfort influencing people at a variety of levels
  • Strong knowledge of Crop Consultants, field team members, and grower roles, including how they work, why they would change, and how they will become comfortable integrating new technology into their daily work activities
