Responsibilities
- Candidates submitting resumes should enjoy working on an extremely wide range of projects and assignments with a team of highly motivated engineering and survey professionals.
- Candidate will have the opportunity to advance, while working on a wide variety of private and public sector projects in the fields of utilities, energy, education facilities, airports and land development.
- The candidate may work under the direction of a GISP, Licensed Engineer and Land Surveyor.
- The optimum candidate should have the ability to retain the skills learned from training
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Knowledge of and demonstrable experience with the ESRI ArcGIS Desktop software (ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro), basic geoprocessing tools, and basic map production via ArcGIS
- Experience integrating Microsoft Excel into GIS workflows
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Extreme attention to detail
- Ability to work in periodically high-pressure situations with hard deadlines, and to manage and communicate progress
- Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences
Preferred Qualifications:
- University degree in GIS, Data Management, Survey or Natural Sciences
- Experience using Autocad and Civil 3D software
- Experience with publishing and managing content via the ArcGIS Online and Portal platforms
- Experience utilizing web mapping applications such as Survey123, Dashboards, and Field Maps for ArcGIS.
The pay range for this California position is $30.00- $35.00 per hour; however, base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
