The Lidar and/or Imagery Senior Analyst works to support our technical leaders to ensure data flow and proper tasking within the team. This individual provides oversight to technicians and other analysts in support of the team leadership. This position will work individually and as part of a team to support lidar data production in ArcMap, Microstation, and other industry-specific software packages. This position may also work individually and as part of a team to support imagery data production in Inpho Suite, Agisoft, and other industry-specific software packages. The Senior Analyst has knowledge of all aspects of the lidar and/or imagery editing workflow and performs rigorous QA/QC and assists in training of analysts and technicians. A Senior Analyst produces consistent finished products and works to develop process efficiencies and improve methodologies within the lidar and/or imagery teams.

Technical Focus:

- Performs rigorous QA/QC and data finalization practices
- Excellent technical ability with ESRI, CADD and vector-based software
- Produces data handoffs to various stakeholders and departments
- Ability to coordinate workshare and subcontractor editing exchanges
- Assists in development of workflow and task automation
- Takes initiative to improve processes and efficiencies
- Strong creative aptitude and ability to contribute to the development of the unique methods
- Can apply creative ideas in practical application
- BETA tests new software and methodologies

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in a professional work environment
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience
- Confident knowledge of ESRI or vector-based software and
- TerraSolid products
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a science or engineering program
- 6 months of Geospatial Analyst or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of most current Lidar Base Specification and other pertinent industry-guiding documentation from USGS, NOAA, etc.
- Knowledge of airborne imagery processing methods3 years’ experience in a technical, professional work environment
