JOB TITLE: Kennel Technician 1

DEPARTMENT: Kennel

SUPERVISOR: Kennel Mgr

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:  Care for animals being boarded in Kennel.  Assist in facility housekeeping.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Let animals out to go to bathroom

·         Clean kennels

·         Bathe animals

·         Feed animals

·         Restrain animals

·         General cleaning tasks

·         Any other tasks as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED:

·         Ability to read and write in English

·         Ability to lift 50 lbs

·         Ability to commute to work for scheduled shifts

·         Ability to take direction effectively

·         No allergies to dogs or cats
