WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION: Partner closely with Sales, Operations, and technical leaders and Field Service Specialists to provide outstanding customer experience Provide sophisticated technical application assistance on HOFFMAN Steinhauer mechanical and software products (CNC Modification Centers) Complete machine installations and maintenance at customer sites primarily in NA and ROW as needed Train customers on the operation of products at nVent facilities and customer sites Directly contact customers and Work multi-functionally to ensure customer issues are resolved in a timely manner Maintain a spare part inventory in Anoka MN and facilitate order fulfillment with vendors Perform Sales demonstrations at current machine owners sites and in Anoka MN Demonstration Area for potential customers Maintain Demonstration Area machines with Continuous-Inkjet Printer Could be traveling 50% across the East US and some travel may be international YOU HAVE: Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience Ideally 5 years in technical service or engineering role with strong mechanical, electrical, and software solving abilities Sophisticated knowledge of customer service principles and practices Knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD or similar) WE HAVE: A dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day We are a $2.5 billion, high-performance electrical company with a dedicated team of 9,500 people and trusted brands such as CADDY, ERICO, HOFFMAN, RAYCHEM, SCHROFF and TRACER.
