What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Sales Manager – NUHEAT position at nVent?
We are looking for upbeat, passionate, goal-oriented sales professional to promote our industry leading Nuheat brand of in-floor heating solutions . The successful candidate will have a proven track record for sales growth. We are a leading provider of heat tracing, floor heating, fire-rated and specialty wiring, sensing, and snow melting and de-icing solutions for industrial, commercial and residential use. Brand names for the Thermal Building Solutions business include Raychem, Pyrotenax, Tracer, Nuheat and TraceTek.
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
IN THIS POSITION, YOU WILL GET TO:
- Establish sales relationships with installing contractors of floor heating systems in the commercial and residential markets in the sales territory.
- Support, bring value, and solutions to the installing contractor to form a relationship and repeat customers for our electric floor heating products.
- Identify potential marketplace opportunities and develop new installing contractor accounts.
- Establish and conduct hands-on product and virtual training programs and installation demonstrations with our customers, the installing contractors, throughout the sales territory.
- Develop sales plans, submit weekly and monthly sales plans, and meet sales activity based metrics, for the business.
- Work with and alongside our Manufactures Rep network
- Work with the Marketing team to carry out promotional campaigns with our authorized distribution network throughout the sales territory.
- Travel throughout the Northern California Territory is approximately 35%
YOU HAVE:
- Undergraduate degree an asset with ideally 2 years of outside sales experience.
- Experience selling to Tile and Electrical Distribution and Contractors in the region an asset.
- Understanding and background within the Residential and Commercial Construction market an asset.
- Electric Floor Heating or Electric Heat Trace experience ideal.
- Self-starter who is able to work independently and stay motivated.
- Skills of Sales Hunter, Organization, Team Player and CRM based system fluency preferred
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal with solid MS Office skills.
- Must be able to work remote and located in the San Francisco Bay area geography. Sales office will be provided in Redwood City CA
