Business Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY

This is a Hybrid/Onsite position. Onsite in Lake Mary, FL 3 days - remote 2 days. The Business Analyst will work with clients to understand banking business requirements and provide recommendations that align with project objectives. The Business Analyst is responsible for documenting requirements, specifications, processes, and for data mapping using scripting languages.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical Analysis

· Responsible for the converting data from source to destination system(s) using scripts

· Performing troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolving data integrity issues

· Assist clients with technical issues and escalate to technical team if required

Requirements Analysis

· Review of client requirements and preparation of client specific setup

· Define and document business and technical requirements for product integration

· Develop test cases using client specific setup

· Provide analysis and recommendations for the correction, enhancement, and/or development of applications

Client Facing Communications

· Correspond with the client throughout the project implementation life cycle

· Facilitate and drive mapping sessions with data from source system and input from clients

· Responsible for eliciting business requirements from users, data, and test design

· Conduct requirements reviews and work with client to identify critical information

· Communicates mapping updates and project status to project managers and team lead

· Drives clients to resolving all outstanding action items

· Seek opportunities to increase client satisfaction and deepen client relationships

· Complete projects within project guidelines and project plan timelines

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

· Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Systems Analysis, or a related discipline

· 2 years of relevant experience · Experience reading XML files

· Experience with scripting languages

· Ability to read, modify, and create functions to map/convert data

· Understanding of the SDLC and agile methodology

· Able to analyze and process data and information in a logical manner

· Able to prioritize workloads to effectively and efficiently meet deadlines

· Critical thinking & problem-solving skills

· Strong analytical skills

· Strong attention to detail

· Organizational and time management skills

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to work independently and be self-motivated

Preferred

· 4 years of relevant experience

· Experience reading XML files and creating xPath expressions

· Ability to maintain functions written in VB.NET

· Functional knowledge of lending systems, core system loan processing, or loan operations

· Experience using Salesforce
