The Opportunity
Shack Shine is an exciting, fast growing house detailing franchise. We make your home twinkle, sparkle and glow through our suite of services including window washing, gutter cleaning, pressure washing and installing Christmas lights. We are part of O2E Brands, the parent company of the hugely successful 1-800-GOT-JUNK?. We’re looking for a Content Specialist to join our Marketing team to bring our brand voice to life, collaborate with our digital advertising team on compelling campaigns, and lead and coordinate creative cross-functional projects across our brand. This is a dynamic, growth-oriented role perfect for someone looking for their next step as a content creator and storyteller.

For this role’s duty and responsibility we anticipate that you will be in the office 25% of the time.

A Day in the Life
- Bring our brand voice to life through compelling copy, content and campaigns.
- Coordinate creative projects across departments and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the digital marketing team to plan and implement online campaigns.
- Plan and execute social media and blog updates.
- Work with our freelance graphic designers to plan, design and implement creative concepts.
- Maintain brand integrity across all creative touchpoints.
- Support our Franchise Partners with creative and content requests.

What You Bring to the Table
- 2 years in a similar role creating content and/or copywriting
- Experience coordinating or managing integrated marketing or creative campaigns
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated technical expertise in content, web, and social platforms (eg. Wordpress, Hootsuite/Sprout, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok)
- Actively engaged in social and content trends
- Passion for storytelling
- Exceptional written communication skills
- Experience with email marketing is an asset
- Experience in a franchise system is an asset
- Marketing or related degree is an asset
