POSITION SUMMARY
As the Retail Recruitment and HR Specialist you will support all processes related to hiring, training and developing our staff within the Retail Department. This is an exciting role where you will be able to create, execute and follow up on a retail recruiting strategy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruitment
Oversee and support the sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring process for retail stores
Expert at social media and networking to secure and retail top talent
Networking all the time to establish connections and build a strong pipeline of candidates at all levels
Identify retail staffing opportunities, set clear objectives, and partner with Retail and relevant partners to rectify opportunities and aid effective staff planning
Review store schedules to determine staffing vacancies through analyzing business trend, seasonality, and existing caliber
Support New Store Openings through identifying needs and attracting and hiring top talent
Staff Development
Partner with Retail business leaders to align people strategies with business strategies
Build and maintain relationships with stores teams, peers, and relevant partners
Design high quality retail training programs through adherence to OAK FORT's Approach to Work and job responsibilities by utilizing the ADDIE Model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate)
Train high performing retail Managers to execute training programs based on their specialized competencies to maximize training productivity
Partner with Retail and relevant partners to oversee, evaluate and implement strategies based on validating staff performance
Act as an internal consulting resource for training Managers through coaching check-ins
Partner with HR to develop surveys and evaluative tools to assess effectiveness of created training programs
Support Retail and relevant partners with retention of top staff within districts as needed
Participate in monthly Manager's meetings within various districts as needed
Sales Generation
Analyze the competitive landscape and internal trends to determine industry best practices, benchmarks, and the impact to the workforce
Be aware and communicate competitors social marketing initiatives and how that affects customer and employee experience
Support with maximizing sales during special events by attracting and hiring top talent
Store Functionality
Optimize schedules and provide training to Senior Managers to provide clarity with scheduling objectives in order to reduce labor wastage and strategically schedule existing caliber to achieve company goals
Participate in training, execution, and development of floor management
Adhere to loss prevention policies to prevent external and internal theft
Support with new store openings and closure with primary focuses on training, staffing, and sales generation when needed
Contribute ideas to developing new processes and frameworks to improve store organization and efficiency
Write, update, edit and deliver internal communication material
Travel & Others
Travel locally, nationality and internationally based on business needs, with vary duration and frequency.
Complete other projects as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 2-4 years Human Resources and Talent Acquisition related support experience
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Proven networking abilities with established connections
Results driven - must possess a high degree of initiative, attention to detail, professionalism, and self-motivation in accomplishing tasks
Must have experience in high volume recruitment efforts in a fast moving environment to be considered for this role
Strong interpersonal skills, intellectual problem solver and an outstanding ability to build relationships both internally and externally
Quickly understands the needs of the candidate and hiring manager
Great ideas and keen to share them with the team
Can do attitude, and not shy to ask a question to move forward
