Role Description:
The People Operations (PeOps) Business Partner, Senior Associate is a strategic partner at the regional level that will immediately become an important contributor. They will leverage data to help establish people strategies throughout the region and will ensure the effectiveness and compliance of human resources’ initiatives and activities.
Responsibilities:
Regularly meet with Leadership to review team health data to identify trends and areas of opportunity, and develop and implement action items and people strategies accordingly
Work with leadership to develop change management plans surrounding new initiatives and rollouts, organizational updates, updated policies, etc. Anticipate potential impact and need and advise accordingly
Mitigate risks and the need for third-party representation as well as analyze trends and make proactive recommendations
Collaborate, review and approve corrective action measures and ensure consistency of policies and guidelines
Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory concerns including: Federal, State, and local laws and regulations related to the Human Resources function such as FLSA, ADA, Civil Rights Act of 1964, and FMLA
Help create a culture that fosters a high level of employee trust by celebrating the open door policy and being a model of our values; provide coaching and advice to senior leadership and local managers, as needed
Manage and help enhance employee recognition programs
Partner and liaison between Chicago PeOps central team and field team
In partnership with the PeOps Talent Acquisition Team, aid in recruiting efforts, as needed
Organize, lead, facialite new hire orientation
Other duties, as assigned
What we’re looking for:
5 years of progressive experience in human resources with a specialization in employee relations in a multi-unit, geographically diverse healthcare setting
2-4 years HR/Recruitment and training experience (Healthcare industry is a plus)
Ability to deal with ambiguity
Strong professional presence
Proven planning, priority setting, and time management skills
Ability to quickly build trusting relationships, gain credibility, and partner with leaders and peers
Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict confidentiality in matters that require discretion
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Flexible, self-starter, able to manage multiple ongoing projects without close supervision in a fast-paced environment
A demonstrated team-orientation with all levels of employees
Strong MS Excel skills
Access to reliable transportation is required
US work authorization
