For additional information please visit our website at www.oaktreecapital.com. Responsibilities Oaktree is seeking a Credit Trader to join the Investment Grade Solutions (IGS) team. IGS applies Oaktree’s deep credit-underwriting expertise across the full fixed income spectrum with the aim of creating tailored portfolio solutions that meet client objectives and deliver risk-adjusted performance. Staging and executing secondary market trading for the strategy Monitoring and evaluating new issue activity in the primary market for each sector Monitoring market levels and evaluating relative value across sectors, industries and names. Recommending trades to enhance portfolio performance Collaborating with other team members to implement client portfolios while adhering client specifications and constraints for diverse group of commingled and separately managed accounts Reviewing portfolio characteristics with team members to ensure that the portfolio positioning reflects current market views and compliance with established guidelines Enhancing procedures, processes and systems to improve operations, liquidity and risk management Providing on-going market color, technicals and activity to IGS Team Strengthening relationships with dealer community and other related contacts Working with traders across Oaktree to secure best execution for platform; and Communicating internally/externally when needed on current market trends and technicals. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in the capital markets trading fixed income products; Proficient in trading corporate, sovereign and other credit market products; Proficient in basic derivatives products across asset classes; Strong business writing and communication skills; and Strong working knowledge of Bloomberg.
