What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ecommerce Assistant Account Manager position at Obagi Cosmeceuticals, LLC?

Purpose of Position:

The Ecommerce Assistant Account Manager will support the global eCommerce strategy by working with both internal teams and external vendors, including retailers, to drive brand awareness and retail sales without compromising brand integrity.

Summary of Essential Job Functions:

May be responsible for one or more of the following:

  • Communicates with creative and brand marketing teams to ensure all creative requests are captured and delivered in a timely manner
  • Uploads ecommerce assets to the digital asset management platform and distributes to all DTC partners
  • Sets up all new products with DTC partners via new line forms. Collaborate with internal teams (Product Development, Sales, Marketing, etc.) to ensure all product information remains up to date
  • Assists with audit of site ensuring high quality user experiences across all DTC partner websites globally
  • Processes orders and manages inventory for full product catalog
  • Monitors MAP pricing and third-party sellers; coordinates with retailer(s) to remove unauthorized sellers
  • Manages internal calendar inclusive of promotions, marketing campaigns, price increases
  • Builds and maintains relationships with key partners both internally and externally to understand business priorities and establish rapport
  • Partners with agencies to develop content that supports our brand and builds SEO
  • Maintains expertise of the e-commerce landscape and online competitors, identifying trends and online growth opportunities
  • Continually offers input to innovate processes, systems and organization
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Communications or related field, preferred
  • 2-4 years’ experience in e-commerce, required
  • Skin and/or Beauty experience, preferred
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Strong communicator, highly organized, strong ability to multi-task, problem solve, and prioritize in a face-paced environment
  • Detail oriented and exceptional time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability for creative thinking
  • Demonstrated teamwork and cross-functional collaboration
  • Passion for online shopping and new technologies

Physical Requirements: These demands document the physical requirements of a specific job. Criteria may include: Lifting, Carrying, Push/Pull, Sitting/Standing (In Place); On Feet, Walking, Bending, Turn/Twist; Kneeling; Squatting; Crawling; Climbing; Reaching (Out)/Reaching (Up), Grasping, Wrist Turning; Pinching; Finger Manipulation, Hearing, Talking, Working with a computer for eight hours, Working in close quarters. Communicating over the telephone for eight hours.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $31.00 per hour
