The OCD Institute Houston, LLC (OCDIH) is currently seeking an Office Manager to support and oversee all administrative duties at OCDIH including billing and working with insurance. The Program is a specialized, evidence-based program that treats patients with severe OCD and other anxiety disorders with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), particularly Exposure and Response Prevention. OCDIH engages in clinical treatment outcomes and clinical information that ismeaningful to the field and to be a part of. The Office Manger is a valuable and integral part of the team.

Responsibilities: The Office Manager works under the supervision of the Director. They will follow the established OCDIH policies and procedures. In this position, the office manager will be responsible for:
- Patient billing and reconciliations
- Working with insurance companies to obtain reimbursement
- Assisting admin department and overseeing all admin department tasks
- Managing
- Working with staff on patient insurance coordination.
- Inventory and systems building
- May create templates, forms, reports, files, and other documentation using MS Office Suite.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Must answer phone calls and determine the appropriate course of action, direct calls to appropriate team members, take messages, communicate messages, check voicemails etc.
- Handle inquiries and resolve or direct any issues or concerns that arise to the appropriate person.
- Develop and implement effective processes and procedures to improve efficiency.
- Will provide clerical support to the program but is not limited.
- Will be responsible for providing clerical support to clinical team for house administrative task.
Other administrative responsibilities can and may be assigned as needed.
*Requirement: Bachelors degree. Three years of relevant work experience, preferably in a clinical setting with billing experience. Advanced computer and software skills and knowledge to use a variety of electronic or online systems for communication. Excellent communication skills for interaction with patients and the OCDIH interdisciplinary team. Excellent writing skills for documentation and experience. Excellent organizational skills and experience. Proficiency in using computer software and applications for data management.
