Job Posting for RADT Recovery Worker at Oceanside Malibu Addiction Treatment Center
We are looking to hire a Recovery Tech Worker.
Compensation is open for discussion. Seeking someone Full Time. We have 1 inpatient location in Malibu CA and/or 1 outpatient location in West Hills CA. Seeking people compassionate in making a difference in helping people in recovery from addiction.
Assist Staff and Supervisors with the supervision of clients in their daily activities. Ensure the clients follow the treatment schedule. Transport clients to and from medical and other appointments or other critical needs as they arise. Transport clients to and from treatment, shopping, meetings, and appointments as needed. Make continuous rounds. Redirecting and reporting clients if rules are broken. Responsible for understanding and enforcing Program Rules at all levels of care. General maintenance duties as assigned by the Director of Operations. Promotes a favorable/positive work atmosphere. Maintains flexibility and adaptability to expected and unexpected changes in the work environment. Reports personal symptoms of suspected illness of contagious diseases to the Clinical Director. Reports incidents, accidents, and occurrences in accordance with policies and procedures. Maintains the safety of the physical environment. Communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Independently solve problems and follow through. Organize and function independently in an office environment. Perform other tasks and duties as assigned. Other Qualifications:
At least 1 year of experience in the field of chemical dependency/substance abuse/psychiatric setting or human services field. Ability to work as a team member and have management, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under stressful conditions and be flexible in relation to department needs. Ability to multitask. Demonstrates Proficiency in Verbal & Written Communication Skills. Knowledge of State & Federal Statutes Regarding Patient Confidentiality Laws. Knowledge of 12-Step Programs (addiction and recovery). Certification/registration in the Substance Abuse field desired. Minimum Qualifications:
Pass Screening for COVID - 19 during the interview. 1+ years of experience in a treatment facility. Valid Driver's License. Registered Alcohol Drug Technician (RADT) or Higher. First Aid/CPR Certified. Tuberculosis Clearance.
