Management & Acquisition Associate(0028) This is a contingency position based on award of contract.
OCT Consulting, LLC is an SBA-certified, 8(a) small business management and technology consulting firm that provides support to Federal Government clients. We provide consulting services in the areas of Strategy, Process Improvement, Change Management, Program and Project Management, Acquisition/Procurement, and Information Technology.
Responsibilities and Duties
OCT Consulting currently has an opening for an experienced Management & Acquisition Associate to support a Federal government client. The responsibilities for the Management & Acquisition Associate include:
- Provide subject matter expertise, advice, and help in the development and documentation of acquisition life cycle requirements, procurement actions, contract recompetes, contract modifications, and interagency agreements.
- Assist in procurement planning/forecasting.
- Provide assistance in planning and drafting required documentation.
- Collaborate with geographically separated cross-functional teams from a remote environment to gather information and ensure alignment in documentation efforts.
- Assist with the preparation and review of documents that include but are not limited to the following: Acquisition Lifecycle Documentation, Statements of Work (SOW), Acquisition Plans (AP), Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE), Analysis of Alternatives (AoA), Determination and Findings (D&F), Determination Assessment, and other relevant acquisition documents as prescribed by Federal acquisition/ procurement policies and regulations.
- Assist with broader Strategic Planning efforts and analysis across a range of functional issues.
Qualifications and Skills
- Five (5) years of demonstrated relevant experience with Government Acquisition Lifecycle documentation and Strategic Planning.
- Proven experience providing technical writing support to a Federal government program office.
- Experience with IT modernization and a strong background in IT procurement and IT terms and processes is highly desirable.
- Prior experience working for a Federal consulting firm is highly desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to convey complex information concisely.
- Mastery of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and a capacity to coordinate collaboration efforts with key stakeholders.
- The ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to contingencies resulting from changes or modifications to the schedule and assessment requirements.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience in presenting acquisition-related materials, processes, and analyses to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Education and Certifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree in English, Technical Writing, or a related field is highly desirable
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must be able to obtain or retain a Public Trust or Secret clearance.
- The investigation will involve a credit, fingerprint, and law enforcement agency check
