What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Program Manager, AR/VR position at Oculus?
The Commercial AR/VR team is seeking an experienced Program Manager to design and execute programs aligned with Portal and Oculus product lines for the Commercial Sales Team. Programs include but are not limited to new product launches, beta programs, training programs and sales enablement programs. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong program management acumen, a deep understanding of the B2B space and the ability to successfully manage multiple complex programs across cross-functional teams. They will be self-motivated, operationally rigorous with a high tolerance for nuance and ambiguity, and comfortable with frequent changes. They are able to influence without authority and have extraordinary collaboration skills to be able to work across teams.

- Lead and prioritize strategic programs with ambiguity, while working closely with multiple teams across the organization. Communicate impact, challenges, roadblocks and insights effectively and concisely to appropriate audiences and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. Product, PMM, Category, Partnerships, Operations) to lead programs and represent the needs of the commercial sales team and their customers.
- Manage the rollout, adoption and knowledge transfer of new product launches, product updates, and other relevant programs and tools.
- Develop strong peer and stakeholder relationships, maintaining effective communication channels.
- Establish program roles and responsibilities to ensure successful project execution.
- Actively manage and communicate risks to programs with mitigation strategies.
- Develop detailed analysis, plans, milestones, deliverables and overall status updates related to program management.
- BA Marketing or equivalent experience working on global teams
- Cross-functional experience influencing without directing
- Communication and presentation experience
- Experience understanding sales team requirements and translating needs into plans
- Experience navigating ambiguity while balancing competing priorities
- 5 years of experience in program management with focus on sales, preferably B2B
- Experience with project management tools (preferably Asana)
