Description
Professionally owned and managed property management company is seeking an Property Management Accountant to join the Team. The position will be based out of our Philadelphia, PA office! The accounting team member will assist with the day-to-day functions of the accounting department, with a focus on accounts payable.
The ideal candidate should be extremely skilled with accounting and bookkeeping functions, inquisitive, eager to learn, and able to juggle multiple tasks.
The accounting team members primary duties include but are not limited to:
• Processing utility payments
• Monthly billing to tenants
• Preparing accounts payable reports to management
• Various other ad hoc AP functions
Requirements
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Excellent computer knowledge with proficiency in Excel
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks within identified time frames
• Organized
• Dependable
• Detail Oriented
• High sense of urgency
• Accountable for complete success in this role
• Team Player
• Quick Learner with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
