What?
This position is responsible for managing various protected/paid leave programs across the company, supporting attendance policies and tracking, and providing additional project and administrative support to HR/Operations. This position will play an important role in maintaining programs that support employees at all levels; a passion for providing excellent customer service and accurate record keeping is a must.
Main aspects of the role include:
- Knowledge of Oregon and Federal leave laws and determine if employees are eligible for protected leave under OFLA/FMLA or ADA, or other leaves, and effectively communicate to employees and leaders; this may include working with a third party administrator and ensuring information flows back and forth as needed
- Accurately input employee data into ADP or other Human Resources Information Systems; including changes in status, compensation, position, new hires, terminations, etc.
- Help ensure attendance policy compliance and accuracy, considering protected leave eligibility; help track and review attendance to support progressive discipline process

The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in HR or related field with a High School Diploma or coursework in HR. In addition, this individual should have experience with OFLA, FMLA, and ADA with knowledge of upcoming Oregon Family Paid Medical Leave. This candidate will experience handling sensitive information requiring a high level of confidentiality. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish would be beneficial, but not required.
