Position Description – Application Developer
Office360 is seeking a Cloud Solutions Developer to join our team. You`ll be working on Web Applications, Web API Services, and database integration. You`ll interact daily with our IT management, company management, and end-users on understanding and implementing requirements, and creating appropriate technical solutions.
Position Responsibilities/Essential Functions
1. Solve problems with technology - understanding how to work at crafting technically-appropriate solutions to reduce the noise and communicate effectively with business users.
2. Be passionate about quality, process, programming - seeing opportunities for improvement, seizing them, and then sharing your findings with others.
3. Take ownership of the success of the team, have a positive attitude and the ability to understand and leverage new technologies, potentially wearing many hats including business analyst, DBA, QA, developer, and project manager.
4. Follow software design best practices - practicing continuous integration, test-driven development, and regular deployment.
5. Position requires little travel but some weekend and evening work may be required as needed.
6. Remote work may be appropriate, but working in office is preferred.
Requirements
1. A degree in computer science or a related field in software development with 1-5 years of experience.
2. Working knowledge of ASP.NET and .NET Core, MVC frameworks such as Angular, Blazor, or React.
3. Understanding of design patterns such as MVC, MVVM, or SPA.
4. Be organized and able to remain productive even when you have multiple deliverables.
5. Familiarity with SQL databases.
6. Adept with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
7. Development of REST and/or SOAP Web Services.
8. Knowledge of Containerization, Azure, Google Cloud, PHP, Python, Node.JS, Rust, or Unix/Linux is a plus.
9. Knowledge of Sugar CRM, Snowflake, Tableau, or Robotic Process Automation is a plus.
