- We are adding a Portfolio Analyst to our OFM team in Holly Springs, NC!
What you'll do: The Portfolio Analyst is responsible for managing all merchandising activity in their assigned market category. They will collaborate with leadership to deliver business performance reviews, guide marketing efforts; executing the portfolio management strategy to meet business needs and build long term strategic value for the business. This role influences and drives the overall performance of the product portfolio in their market category by establishing market insights, financial planning, establishing revenue targets, developing pricing strategies, and managing trade partner assortment/allocation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Partner with the Portfolio & Pricing Manager to develop and communicate the category strategy, sales, and margin goals for area of responsibility
- Develop and communicate category strategic vision, goals, and insights from a customer and marketplace perspective, to support profitable unit sales growth
- Oversee product lifecycle; managing cross-functional relationships, product pricing, and project management to drive maximum productivity from launch to discontinuation
- Ensure merchandise strategies and assortment plans meet business objectives, aligning with customer needs
- Conduct extensive market research, trend analysis, and customer insights highlighting product and marketing priorities and opportunities
- Partner with marketing teams to build marketing plans that will enhance the overall brand, drive customer traffic and deliver return on investment; all while managing the customer and channel impact associated with assortment changes, product discontinuations, price adjustments, and promotional activities
- Collaborate with Sales & Operations Planning to accurately forecast product category and allocate inventory between customers effectively
- Participate in projects as appropriate to ensure the success of the organization
What you have:
Education and Experience:- Bachelor's Degree required, Business or related field preferred
- At least 1 year of relevant business and analytical experience required, 3 years preferred
- Merchandising expertise preferred
