Host/Host
Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
- Escort guests to their assigned tables or waiting areas
- Take reservations and manage the waitlist
- Manage the flow of guests to ensure efficient seating and service
- Answer messages in resy and assist with inquiries or reservations
- Maintain a clean and organized host/host station
- Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Toast POS, is a plus
- Strong guest service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers
- Knowledge of food service procedures and basic menu items
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
