Oh, Fur Pet's Sake is expanding into the Otsego/Albertville area and seeks an extraordinarily reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our growing team. Our ideal candidate is comfortable interacting with pets and clients daily in the pet's home, has previous experience with dogs, cats, and various other animals, has excellent communication skills, and thrives while working independently. Our future sitter will be responsible for cleaning litter boxes, feeding and walking pets of all sizes and ages, and cleaning all pet messes.

Oh, Fur Pet Sake Pet Sitter Responsibilities:

• Take care of pets and their needs
• Interact with owners and other pets
• Understand pet behavior
• Communicate and interact with the owner
• Maintain a clean environment for the pet(s)

Oh, Fur Pet Sake Pet Sitters MUST:

• Live in Otsego or Albertville.
• Be able to work and commute in all types of weather. This active position requires hours of energy, even on rainy, snowy, or hot days.
• Have access to a reliable vehicle not shared with anyone and hold a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to walk dogs of all sizes in all types of weather.
• Love people in addition to animals, as this is as much a customer service position as it is a pet care position.
• Be 100% reliable because the pets in your care depend on you. Calling in sick is not tolerated, and you must be precisely on time for your visits.
• Have the ability to communicate effectively by returning emails, phone calls, and text messages promptly.
• Have a smartphone with an up-to-date operating system.
• Have basic writing and photo skills to complete visit reports.
• Be highly organized and extremely detailed oriented.
• Must pass a background check.

Previous pet-sitting experience is preferred but not required.

We're looking for both full-time and part-time employees. Pay is $16-$20 per hour. For a motivated and responsible candidate, this is an exciting opportunity for growth within Oh, Fur Pet's Sake.
