Ohio Laborers Benefits (OLB) is looking for a Health and Welfare Benefits Specialist to join its Insurance Department. The position will be responsible for handling calls for over 35,000 members and dependents and assist in the administration of enrollment, eligibility, medical & prescription benefits, and COBRA.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to handle multiple benefit inquiries and complaints and ensure resolution or escalation. In a constantly changing health insurance world, the candidate must be able to quickly adapt to changes.

Expected Salary for this position: $47,000 plus an extensive benefits package including premium-free health insurance, a pension, and a 401(k) with match.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years of related experience
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Self-motivated

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $47,000.00 per year
