Responsibilities
Job Purpose: Reporting to the President/Owner, the Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible to support the Owner with performing the day-to-day full charge booking functions of Ohio Pools and Spas by performing specifically assigned tasks.
Scope of the Position: This position will work with all relevant departments, current and potential customers to achieve accounting goals.
Key Responsibilities: Under the direction of the President/Owner, provide a full range of accounting coordinator responsibilities including, but not limited to:
Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable including distributing received invoices to departments for coding and approval, coding administration invoices, posting all invoices, issuing and distributing all cheques.
- Complete Payroll
- Open and Close Accounting periods
- Monitor and follow up with departmental requests.
- Filing all paid invoices weekly.
- Data entry of equipment and vehicle logs.
- Review Accounts Payable monthly and send statements as necessary
- Other duties as discussed and agreed upon.
Qualifications
Must have a recognized Accounting Certificate or relevant course work and (1) one years related work experience. Preference given to those with experience in a retail sales industry.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
1. Must have strong bookkeeping skills.
2. Must have previous experience in accounts payable.
3. Must have strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
4. Must have strong attention to detail.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
6. Ability to create and present reports.
7. Ability to use Microsoft Office, Evosus, Paychecks, and other budgeting software tools.
8. Ability to work as a member of a team or individually.
