Summary of Work:
The Curriculum Coordinator coordinates curriculum materials and events for preclinical and clinical education programs of the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. The role further enhances the medical student experience and overall Heritage College success through facilitation of the college’s simultaneous, multi-campus curriculum delivery model.
The Curriculum Coordinator coordinates curriculum materials and events for preclinical and clinical education programs of the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. The role further enhances the medical student experience and overall Heritage College success through facilitation of the college’s simultaneous, multi-campus curriculum delivery model.
- Coordinates the development, design, production plan and distribution of instructional materials and academic schedules to ensure compliance with college policies within the multi-campus model of curriculum delivery for the Heritage College. Prepares and disseminates instructional materials and Heritage College curriculum information for campus faculty, facilitators, guest lecturers and speakers.
- Coordinates with faculty and staff locally on the campus and remotely (video conferenced) with academic peers across the Heritage College’s multi-campus environment. Provides faculty-focused support with new curriculum initiatives. Serves as an administrative liaison to Heritage College curriculum planning teams and engages in recurring Heritage College Academic Affairs meetings. Utilizes curriculum and course management software to support campus academic requirements.
- Assists in campus event, programming and academic session logistics and set-up. Updates and drafts academic procedures . Serves as support for Curriculum Committee and other curricular focused faculty and staff committees. Assists with student class absence tracking and referrals.
- Other administrative support duties for the Office of Medical Education (OME) as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1-2 years work-related experience
- Equivalent experience may be substituted for Bachelor’s degree
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Higher Education, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or Communications preferred
- Experience with curriculum management software is preferred

Pay Rate
Minimum salary range is $36,279-$40,788. Pay is commensurate with experience and credentials, and is accompanied by our generous university benefits such as:
