Essential Functions:
- Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, goals and deliverables
- Coordinate schedules and facilitate project meetings
- Maintain project documentation, including project charters, schedules, and meeting minutes
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules and status reviews
- Manage project changes and communicate the implications with management and stakeholders
- Coordinate with team members to ensure they have the necessary resources and support to meet project objectives
- Act as liaison between project teams, departments, and external partners
- Conduct regular project reviews to assess overall project health and identify areas for improvement
- Contribute to the identification and implementation of process improvements
- Report project risks and outcomes to appropriate management channels, and escalate issues according to project work plan
- Close out projects, process improvement and change management initiatives upon stakeholder acceptance
- Ensure that all aspects of a project are organized and in conformance with timeline and deliverable requirements
- Facilitate effective communication through regular project status updates and meetings
- Develop and maintain project performance database that tracks overall progress and achievement of milestones
- Cultivate strong relationships between team members to ensure success of projects
- May be involved in the planning, organization, and implementation of special events, specific projects, or program changes
- Exhibits positivity, flexibility and a willingness to take on new responsibilities as requested or required.
- Demonstrates positive leadership, promotes a team-based work environment and presents the agency in the most positive light with all internal and external contacts.
- Updates knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
Performance/Physical Requirements:
- Must maintain regular and reliable attendance to the satisfaction of management
- Must be able to work flexible hours as needed
- Must be able to clearly and confidentially communicate with OhioGuidestone employees, clients, students, participants, and other stakeholders
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time
- Exhibit strong computer literacy skills, including Windows applications, Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated user experience
- Strong technical writing skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Qualifications:
- Minimum of Associate degree with demonstrated project management experience required.
- Valid PMP certification preferred
- Strong communications and writing experience preferred
- Experience in System Administration or data analysis a plus
- Demonstrated understanding of project management concepts
- Ability to take and pass a physical exam, tuberculosis test, and drug screening
