Technical Lead

Job Description Summary: Reports to IT Functional Leader and will have no direct reports. Serves as the primary subject matter expert within their respective Information Technology team, with deep knowledge of the applications and technology that their team is responsible for. Collaborates with the business analysts, architects, vendor partners, and other teams across the IT organization to deliver complex applications and services. Provides technical expertise by enforcing the vision of the application or service architecture and safeguarding the integrity and security of the application environment in collaboration and partnership with architects and other tech leads. In addition, the incumbent will lead code or design reviews, analyze results, and make a recommendation to deliver quality products. Project work may include application development, API tooling, and system design to enable external applications with database secure access to RDBMS or No SQL, and related tasks. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE General: - Knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) - Knowledge of coding standards and tools and techniques to enforce quality of the software (Static code analysis, Quality Gates etc.) - Understanding of information principles and processes - Understanding of financial implications of design decisions, and driving informed decisions - Understanding of system development life cycle methodologies (such as waterfall, spiral, agile software development, rapid prototyping, incremental, synchronize and stabilize, and DevOps) Applications: - Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot problems in multi-tiered applications, including SAAS and on-premises - Solid understanding of design patterns - Working with the team to identify performance bottlenecks and optimizing the application performance Work Shift: Day Scheduled Weekly Hours : 40 Department IS Digital Solutions Join us! ... if your passion is to work in a caring environment ... if you believe that learning is a life-long process ... if you strive for excellence and want to be among the best in the healthcare industry Equal Employment Opportunity OhioHealth is an equal opportunity employer and fully supports and maintains compliance with all state, federal, and local regulations.
