Slot Technician III - Full Time (Swing/Grave Shift)

Starting at $22.00 per hour ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary: SLOT TECHNICIAN I Responsible for repair and maintenance of gaming machines, tables and related gaming equipment. Movement and installation of gaming machines, tables and related gaming equipment. Installation and removal of bases, chairs and signage Maintain gaming logs and work tickets as required Maintains repair shop and related storage areas in clean and safe manner Troubleshoot computers, monitors and computer networks Assist in loading and unloading of machines and signs during deliveries to and removals from property. Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on gaming and gaming related equipment to ensure minimal downtime on machines Perform machine verification, audits and tests as needed, maintaining proper documentation of all verifications, audits, tests and maintenance. Maintain knowledge of and adhere to all State, Federal and Company gaming regulations Provide exceptional service to our guests and team members when performing job duties and conduct oneself in a professional and businesslike manner. Promptly answer and respond to radio calls Maintains an attitude & philosophy consistent with the company Core Values and Standards of Behavior with internal & external guests Other duties as assigned SLOT TECHNICIAN II Must be able to demonstrate and maintain knowledge of how to RAM clear and Option at minimum IGT, Aristocrat, Sci-Game slot machines with no assistance, in reasonable amount of time. Option sheets are allowed. Must be able to demonstrate and maintain knowledge of how to select the proper Bill validator firmware and hardware for each manufacturer. Must be able to demonstrate and maintain knowledge of how to Flash Bill validators using the Blue Wave. Must be able to demonstrate and maintain knowledge of how to select the proper Printer firmware and hardware for each manufacturer. Must be able to demonstrate and maintain knowledge of how Flash Printers using the Blue Wave. Must be able to demonstrate and maintain knowledge of how to properly install locks and their operation. Must be able to correctly identify each Slot manufacturer and cabinet. Must be rated minimum of average in Guest Service areas of most recent evaluation. Must be knowledgeable and efficient at basic Slot repairs - as judged by the majority of Slot Repair Supervisors and Managers. Must be able to demonstrate the ability to clean and properly test shufflers with no assistance. - as judged by the majority of Slot Repair Supervisors and Managers. Must be able to identify and troubleshoot player tracking components. Failure to maintain skills in each requirement can and will result in probation of 90 days to correct or the level can be revoked. Other duties as assigned SLOT TECHNICIAN III Must be able to demonstrate and maintain knowledge of how to RAM clear and Option all slot manufactures with no assistance, in reasonable amount of time (defined by average time for a Tech of equal level). Demonstrating knowledge of how to do the research for any games that are not known to be able to complete the clear and optioning will be counted Must be able to explain the machine options (Oaklawn uses) to show an understanding of what the function of the options pertains to, thus showing an advanced understanding of the options purpose. Must be able to repair Monitors through troubleshooting bad components and replacing to the board level. - as judged by the majority of Slot Repair Supervisors and Managers. Must be rated above average in Guest Service areas of most recent evaluation. Failure to maintain skills in each requirement can and will result in probation of 90 days to correct or the level can be revoked. Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Preferred one-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate. Excellent skills in both written and oral communication. Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word) and have knowledge of Slots operating systems. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
