OCES is seeking a dedicated, caring professional to serve as a new Housing Programs Supervisor. This person should enjoy working in the community in order to support our Housing team and ensure services and support are provided to residents on-site in our partner locations.
What you will do:
- Develop and maintain close working relationships with Local Housing Authorities, providers, and other community representatives
- Understand and adhere to program regulations, standards, and procedures; ensure quality of programs accordingly
- Supervise, monitor, and evaluate assigned staff and housing programs/initiatives
- Represent the agency as directed; participate in public outreach/education activities
- Ensuring quality of programs in accordance with policies and procedures
- Maintaining program handbooks and other program materials
What you'll bring:
- Your passion for helping others and desire to make a difference
- Adaptability to be able to change as the needs of consumers and/or programs change
- At least three years of experience in a social services environment; housing and supervisory experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field; current license preferred
- Bilingual a plus
