What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director position at OLD COLONY Y?
- Program/Department Responsibility:
- Oversee the Family Services Branch including the Family Life Center, David Jon Louison Family Center, Bolton Place Center and the YMCA Rapid Re-Housing Program.
- Ensure accurate record keeping including: Client records, approval of correspondence with outside agencies, program billing, and appropriate outcome evaluation.
- Directly oversee all building operations maintaining safety and regulatory standards to ensure safety and well-being of families residing within the YMCA Family Services Branch.
- Maintain communication with DHCD, HUD, and other state and federal agencies, schools and other human service agencies to include: Intake and assessment, referrals to other human service agencies, coordination of services, and family focused care.
- Ensure proper coordination and relationships with landlords, housing developers, and Regional Housing entities to provide effective services in Rapid Re-Housing and community programs.
- Serve as a liaison between families/youth and all partner agencies, ensuring a high level of
communication - Responsible for statistical and fiscal reports for all programs.
- Coordinate program fundraising and grants development.
- Act as part of management team to deliver quality services to children and families within Branch.
- Schedule individual supervision, group supervision team meetings and trainings with designated staff.
- Conduct Quality Assurance process for all aspects of service delivery.
- Meet on-call needs of program. Respond to emergency situations as needed. May include evening, weekend and holiday hours if circumstances warrant.
- Participate in staff meetings and trainings as requested.
- Work as part of a staff team to support Annual Campaign fundraisers.
- Ensure all program standards are met in accordance with YMCA procedures/protocols and other funding sources.
- Attend and participate in all required meetings and trainings.
- Provide and maintain all required documentation and certification.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
