The responsibilities for this position include, but may not be limited to the following:

  • Procare Software Knowledgeable
  • Must pass a criminal background check and live finger scan
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • At least two years verifiable experience in licensed childcare facility
  • CACFP experience preferred.
  • Be flexible and energetic on the job
  • Neat, clean, and professional appearance
  • Have the ability to juggle multiple duties
  • Ability to plan activities
  • Ability to resolve conflicts with parents, staff, children, etc
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Be able to stand, bend, stoop, and squat
  • Must be loving, caring, nurturing and positive
  • Provides feedback to teachers with regards to classroom activities, lesson plans, room arrangement and child's development
  • As an Employee in this facility, you are expected to maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times
  • Teamwork is important and you are expected to be a cooperative team member
  • Supervises and guides each child's development, conducts observations, and maintains records
  • Works with Director and parents to solve any potential problems in the classroom concerning behavior issues and/or academic challenges
  • Assign and ensure that teachers are receiving and completing their yearly training and daily assignments
  • Classroom management in all aspects

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Lawrenceville, GA 30043: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Required)

Experience:

  • Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Management: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
