What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Cashier (all shifts) position at Old Navy?
We're currently hiring experienced cashiers to work in a high volume atmosphere. Candidates should be friendly, engaging, outgoing and have a positive mindset about customers and the retail atmosphere.
Duties involve
- Engaging with customers during the checkout experience
- Solve customer issues independently to create seamless resolutions
- Cashiering for long periods of time
- Promoting our loyalty programs including our credit card
- Recovery during downtime
- Placing returned and discarded product back to the salesfloor

Schedules are flexible. Typical day shifts are 9:30am-4pm, typical night shifts are 3:30pm-10pm (this is flexible), weekends will also include midday shifts. All applicants must have some weekend availability. Time off requests will always be granted with few exceptions (ie. Black Friday). Schedules received 2 weeks in advance. Candidates can expect between 15-25 hours. If trained and competent in other areas (salesfloor, logistics, fitting room) additional hours may be scheduled.

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
