Territory Managers should expect to spend 80% on the road setting meetings, making initial contact, signing new accounts, building and maintaining relationships, scheduling Patient Appreciation Days, running bud tender trainings, and relaying all important information regarding the climate of the industry to the VP of Sales.

Open New Accounts:
- Generate qualified leads by means of web research, attending expos, events, networking, etc.
- Travel to retail stores to present our products and introduce the company to managers and buyers.
- Assess customer needs, answer questions, and assist with the ordering process.
- Follow leads as provided by the office team.
- Meet or exceed monthly revenue goals.
- Grow current accounts by additional product offering as they become available.
Customer Service:
- Develop relationships with retail store owners, managers and staff.
- Communicate a deep understanding of the many advantages of our products.
- Support stores post-sale.
- Promote our brand to customers and the industry at all public venues.
- Assess customer needs, answer questions and assist with the ordering process.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams in order to deliver product to new and existing clients in agreed upon timeline.
Accountability:
- Reports directly to the VP of Sales.
- Work closely with the Sales team to communicate all sales related activities including travel schedule, prospect lists, and event participation and dispensary demonstration calendars.
- Develop reports pertaining to sales activities for management and update them weekly.
Base Salary Bonus/Commission
Experience Requirements:
- Must reside in the Los Angeles territory and have a valid California Driver’s license and a reliable means of transportation in order to visit clients.
- 2 years’ of outside sales in the cannabis industry is highly preferred.
- 3 years in consumer product sales is required.
- CRM / database experience - Salesforce or Sugar experience is a plus!
- Engaging, persuasive, upbeat and approachable personality
- A passion for meeting new people and promoting products in a competitive environment
- An extensive knowledge and passion for cannabis products is preferred.
- Strong verbal/written communication skills is a must
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets)
- Self-motivated and results driven
- Strong external customer orientation and client relationship building
- Customer service background is a plus
- Willing to do whatever it takes to be successful in a highly competitive market.
