Risk Analyst

Old Republic Risk Management (ORRM) is currently seeking a Risk Analyst to join its Underwriting Services Team at its company headquarters in Brookfield, WI. ORRM provides primary casualty insurance products to corporate and group insureds with complex risks.

In general, the Risk Analyst will provide underwriting analytics and services to large, complex Risk Management customers.

Essential duties for the role are as follows:

• Review/analyze renewal submissions against the prior year's submission for identification and communication discrepancies in exposure information - including payroll, loss information, and vehicle count.
• Prepare the Actuarial Review and Quote Rating request forms and prepare the actuarial/rating and reinsurance submissions for internal and external sources.
• Review and evaluate Employee Concentration information against internal information requirements and against the prior year's information. Communicate any discrepancies.
• Assist with the audit analysis and process.
• Analyze loss information, including loss data issues, loss stratifications, loss comparison, large loss tracking, and collateral needs.
• Assist with renewal tasks, including drafting proposals, binders, and contract schedules, CDM and Cost System Entry, and other items as directed.
• Service customer needs in terms of policy endorsements, posting notices, and filings.
• Other duties as assigned.

This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in a related field or a minimum of three years of related experience or an equivalent amount of education and experience.

Working as a Risk Analyst requires one to work independently and effectively within a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft (MS) Windows and Office products is necessary. Other skills necessary include excellent oral and written communication skills, strong organizational and accurate proofreading skills, the ability to maintain accurate records, the ability to exercise discretion with confidential information, strong attention to detail, and the ability to use a variety of office equipment.
