What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales support representative position at Oldcastle APG?
Job Summary
- Pull quality samples for sales team. Ship samples properly. Deliver samples when needed to design community, dealers, contractors, & jobsites
- Cut and prepare retaining wall and paver samples as needed
- Manage and organize sample yard. Keep aisles clear of debris. Keep pallets covered and labeled. Swap out pallets that are old or damaged.
Communicate sample pallet requests properly
- Manage, inventory, and organize all POP, sample boards and marketing collateral. Keep track of what comes in and what goes out
- Keep all POP, sample boards and marketing collateral clean and out of the way in warehouse and office
- Assist with set up at trade shows, home shows, Belgard University events, and training classes
- Build product mock-ups at commercial jobsites
- Maintain and update product racks and literature racks at GMS locations
- Assist with full inventory counts
- Must have good time management skills
- Needs experience in excel

Requirements
- Excellent communication skills

- Must have a vehicle that can safely haul 1,000 lbs
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Candidate is entitled to participate in the standard OBP benefit package, which is to be implemented generally, as modified by the Company from time to time, subject to customary waiting and vesting period.

Retirement Plan
Candidate will be eligible to participate in Oldcastle’s Defined Contribution Plan (401 K) after the first of the month following ninety (90) days, after the commencement of employment.
Oldcastle will match your contributions at 100% on the first 4% of eligible earnings that you defer into the Plan upon completion of 1 year of service.
Under IRS regulations, your own contribution is treated as tax deferred income but is limited to $17,500 p.a. per Federal regulation.
However, the limitation is adjusted as appropriate based on Federal guidelines.
The plan is managed by Fidelity Investments and offers a range of investment funds to allow for a tailored portfolio.
