Nature & Scope:
Responsible for preparing parts to be painted, inspecting parts after painting and labeling parts for movement into following area, while meeting consistent quality standards.
Specific Job Responsibilities & Duties: include the following; other duties may be assigned.
* Prepare metal for pre-treatment, inspecting and racking
* Hang metal on conveyor for painting
* Remove metal from conveyor, inspect, verify count rack, and tag product
* Assist painter as required, loading powder, cleaning booth
* Pre-treat (chemical pre-wash) metal for painting
* Uses required personal protective equipment
* Assists department with other production needs as required
Qualifications:
Experience
* High School Diploma/GED required.
* Training will be completed on the job.
