Position Summary:

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Corporate Treasurer is responsible for leading the overall development and execution of corporate wide treasury and risk management strategies in support of Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope’s overall company objectives. This individual will be responsible for the development of policies, procedures, departmental performance metrics and the implementation of effective controls for all treasury functions to include, but not limited to: Liquidity/Cash Management, Overall Capital Structure, Banking Relationships, Treasury Accounting, Foreign Exchange Management, Commodity Hedge Management, and M&A Financing.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage all Treasury functions including bank account setup, structure, and review.
  • Develop processes and systems to determine daily, weekly, monthly, and 90-day cash positions; track and manage intra-company funding, anticipate borrowing needs and available funds for investment.
  • Responsible for the design and development of treasury policies and procedures.
  • Maintain strong financial institution relationships. Implement new bank technologies, products and services to improve and simplify processes. - maintaining relationships with the financial community including banking partners and other lenders and recommends and executes the placing of revolving credit facilities, letter of credit lines and/or term debt on the Company’s behalf
  • The position directs cash management strategy and planning, institutional cash investments, credit administration, bank account operations and payment systems.
  • Ensure treasury activities follow policy, guidelines, and internal controls.
  • Manage payment processing set-up and fraud prevention functions.
  • Develop cash flow forecasts to ensure availability of funds to meet ongoing operational requirements.
  • Develop and maintain financial community relationships, cash management practices and procedures, and risk management policies around foreign currency and commodity hedging.
  • Participate with other key senior executives in setting objectives and developing and implementing current and long–range business plans and strategies.
  • Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company. Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
  • Assist with yearly audit by preparing schedules/documentation.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 10-12 years' of progressive experience within corporate finance/treasury
  • CPS, CTP, or CFA preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of corporate treasury experience to include Cash Management, Portfolio Management, Treasury Accounting, Foreign Exchange Management and, Commodity Hedge Management.
  • High level of knowledge with regards to treasury and accounting principles and practices
  • Experience with directing Insurance and Risk Management functions preferred
  • Possesses strong leadership, supervisory, and management abilities
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Word)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, along with the ability to think analytical and critically
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Hands-on and self-directed.
  • Team player comfortable working with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, process-oriented, and organized.
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively develop and execute strategic plans, in support of the overall business objectives.
  • Advanced ability to create business models to analyze return on investments.
  • Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles as it relates to Foreign Exchange Hedging and Commodity Hedging.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze financial problems and develop solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing and interact effectively with the Senior Management Team, external auditors, bank representatives and insurance underwriters.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt schedule to meet changing deadlines and prepare, justify and administer budget.
  • Flexible and able to respond aggressively to changing priorities.
  • Effective change management skills.
